Bligh Water

You must be careful where you choose to dive in this area. Some parts of Bligh Water have strong currents, making them appropriate for experienced divers only. If you are a beginner, ask a guide to take you out into the water to ensure that you have a safe experience.

Shark Reef Marine Reserve

If you fancy high octane adventures—like swimming with sharks—head on over to Shark Reef Marine Reserve. Established in April of 2004, this reserve serves as an ecological sanctuary for sharks of many different species. You’ll find Whitetip Reef Sharks, Blacktip Reef Sharks, Grey Reef Sharks, Tawny Nurse Sharks, Sicklefin Lemon Sharks, Silvertip Sharks, Bull Sharks, and Tiger Sharks.
